The team announced that the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader today beginning at 5:05 p.m. Former ML pitcher Jason Johnson will get his 2nd start with the Sox. He won his first outing with the Sox last week in El Paso despite allowing five runs in five innings.

The Amarillo Venom won at home on Saturday over San Angelo 48-38 in Lone Star Football League play. Venom quarterback Nate Davis threw five touchdown passes and ran for a score. The Amarillo defense also came through with a big game, holding the Bandits to just 38 points and making a key stop late in the game. Amarillo improves to 5-2 on the season. The Venom next play at Abilene on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27th.
